Electrical fire

The deployment of electric vehicles brings new energy management systems. Similarly, in other sectors, hydraulic and mechanical functions are now replaced by electrically operated functions. These systems are under high stress, especially related to Joule effects that occur during the different phases of operation, which may cause fire starts. To secure the deployment of this new technology, CREPIM developed a methodological approach for the validation of dielectric properties of components.
